Watching Dirt Dry

Posted on | January 26, 2009 | Comments Off

I want to put in seeds and seedlings. Very eager. But the soil is still too moist. I go out every half hour or so to check. Not obsessive. Just eager. Where is the line?

There is a New York Times article about bank nationalization. Just the fact that it is under consideration is significant. I’m a liberal, not a socialist. One of the issues raised is that of extension of credit. Political demands versus credit worthiness. Not that businesses made good judgments about credit worthiness. It was the failure in adhering to widely-accepted credit worthiness standards that helped cause our current problems. Big issues.

Walk well. God is love.
